The Davis-Standard lines consist of one 2.5-meter cast film hygiene line and two five-layer agricultural blown-film stretch lines. The cast hygiene line is the second of its kind purchased by Sigma in the last three years. It will be engineered for A/B/A structures with in-line printing capabilities. The five-layer stretch lines will include Davis-Standard Optiflow™ LP dies and vertical oscillating haul-off technology. Installation is anticipated for 2018.
“Davis-Standard has been exemplary at supporting our business demands and growth,” says Alfred Teo, chairman-Sigma Plastics Group. “This purchase confirms our confidence in Davis-Standard’s film technology as we continue to augment capabilities for our extensive line of custom films, stretch films and institutional products. We look forward to another successful installation.”
