Focusing on the wine and spirits label market, the Fortis Solutions Group facility looked to the Gallus RCS 430 to produce the highest quality label for any complex design a customer may want. Redefining the future of label printing, the RCS 430 supports six printing processes including offset printing, flexographic printing, screen printing, hot foil stamping, and embossing – all of which can be readily integrated for ultimateflexibility. Similarly, secondary processes like cold foil embossing, laminating, and reverse-side printing can be accomplished with the versatile RCS platform.

This press allows us to receive a job and adjust the press to the label design to create exactly what our demanding clients need in a matter of a few minutes.”
Thanks to its high degree of automation, the RCS 430 achieves offset printing quality results, holding extremely tight registration, while maintaining the best possible performance efficiency. When working on repeat jobs, the RCS has many unique features to ensure the repeatability of demanding label designs.
“The RCS and Gallus have been involved in the premium packaging industry for a very long time, and they have a great reputation in the wine and spirits market,” adds Kinzie. “When we decided to launch our greenfield startup in Napa, we made sure that our first equipment purchases would be an investment in our future. While this may be the first purchase for the new Fortis Solutions Group facility, Kinzie has relied on Heidelberg-Gallus equipment in the past – making the purchase of the RCS an easy decision.
