Registration materials and a preliminary agenda are posted on the AIMCAL and ISCST Websites (www.aimcal.org and www.iscst.com). The Symposium opens with a short course, Liquid Films Coating Science and Technology, and joint sessions discussing advanced roll-to-roll materials manufacturing, next-gen electronics, photovoltaics, and simultaneous multilayer coating of lithium-ion battery electrodes.
The remainder of the schedule is organized into dual tracks on topics such as Coating Process Fundamentals, Drying and Curing Fundamentals, Microstructure Development and Film Defects, Wetting & Adhesion, Flow and Solidification of Particulate Coatings, Printing and Discrete Coatings, and Coating Applications. The agenda also includes tabletop exhibitions, networking receptions, and presentation of the John A. Tallmadge Award for outstanding contributions to coating technology and the L.E. Scriven Young Investigator Award. Award nominations may be made on the ISCST Website until July 2, 2018.
Potential exhibitors of coating equipment, coating services, or coating and drying modeling software and instrumentation should contact AIMCAL (+1-803-948-9470, firstname.lastname@example.org).
