“This expansion will allow us to expand our year-over-year growth, while keeping our high standing in the commercial manufacture of rollers and coverings for the converting, steel, packaging, plastics and other industrial uses of large rolls,” says Garrett Rausch, dir.-Engineering and Manufacturing at Menges Roller.
The expansion of the plant features a new lathe, which enables the company to manufacture rolls up to 58 in. in diameter and 275 in. in length with live tooling and three-axis machining capabilities.
“We acquired Menges Roller in late 2017 to broaden our Precision Roll offering while complementing our sister brands of Webex and Valley Roller,” adds Greg Jehlik, CEO-Maxcess. “This expansion allows us to better serve the needs of our customers, particularly those with large roll needs, in the most efficient manner possible.”
