Label Impressions, a progressive label and flexible packaging printer in California, has expanded its operations into a new 30,000-sq-ft manufacturing space.
“This expansion has been in the works for several years and is part of our long term strategic plan,” says Jeff Salisbury, Label Impressions president/CEO. “The additional space will house our finishing operation, allow us to install new wider-web, flexible package printing and converting equipment, and a digital label printing press.”
In tandem with the expansion, the company has added two additional 10-color Nilpeter presses in 13- and 17-in. widths to assist in the development of unique label and pouch products such as their “softscreen” print - a low-cost alternative to expensive screen printing. The new 17-in. FB-4200 Nilpeter servo press is equipped with full UV-curing systems, auto register and multi-web capabilities opening doors to new and emerging markets.
