Comexi is participating in the K fair after the success obtained at the last Drupa edition, where visitors had the opportunity to learn about the new flexo press F1, incorporating greater automation industry integration with the printing process robot. Automation has also been developed for the outstanding press Comexi Offset CI8, which was presented at Drupa, along with the release of the new printing unit for gravure press R2.
Comexi is presenting at K the most important flexible packaging innovations in conversion, plus the latest printing technologies. Comexi is presenting its latest solutions in lamination, coating and slitting as a global supplier to the industry considering that the K fair is dedicated to the plastics and rubber industry.
In lamination, attending to new trends and market needs, visitors will have the opportunity to discover the different solutions in laminators with and without solvents, like Comexi ML1 and Comexi SL2. These solutions respond the high standards that the market requires both in high productivity and efficiency. Both have an excellent market response, valuing especially its easy handling, fast changeovers and absolute reliability and robustness.
Regarding coating, Comexi is also revealing its technical solutions to meet the growing demand for packaging by the brand owners (heat seal coatings, barrier varnishes and cold seal), as well as all other applications designed to highlight the added value of the final packaging on the shelf: at register matt or gloss coatings – Comexi Dual and Comexi ML1-, along with holography and cold-foil. Comexi Futura, has helped its costumers to achieve important international awards related to an innovative design in their packaging.
Comexi, is also showing the Comexi L20000, water-based laminating machine specially designed for “just in time” laminations and that responds to the HP Indigo digital 20000 press’ needs. With this option, Comexi reinforces the group's commitment to the environment. This innovation ventures for a more sustainable and efficient technology, eliminating solvents through water-base lamination, without renouncing to the highest performance.
Furthermore, in slitting, Comexi introduces its latest solutions for the packaging sector with its high-performance slitters that ensure the highest levels of both quality and productivity, even in the most demanding jobs, such as the Comexi S1DT slitting machine. In addition, the group is also displaying the latest innovations in technology Laser Cingular, which can be integrated inline with its machines and guarantees the best accuracy in drilling applications, selective layer slitting, numbering, slitting and text creation. Likewise, the group will advance the results of its latest investigations in re-sealable packaging.
Focusing on smart factories
Customers are one of the fundamental pillars for Comexi. Supporting and favoring them in developing their businesses is one of the main objectives for Comexi. This is the origin of innovative tool production control Comexi Cloud, which, together with the incorporation of process automation, improves the efficiency of factories. This is a further step in the smart factories implementation, which is known as industry 4.0.
Comexi Cloud is the fastest and easiest way to analyse production. Factories can control better control the production process and dispose of the real data to optimize their resources. Comexi Cloud provides real-time information that improves productivity, process safety, reduces downtime and waste, controls the production time execution and analyse trends in work and production.
Innovators in social media
Following its innovative character, and for the first time in the flexible packaging field, Comexi launches in this K fair edition an initiative on its social media in order to discover the opinions of its customers or potential costumers. The group’s aim is to encourage exchange of knowledge and determiner which of its innovations generates the most impact on the market.
With this initiative, Comexi aims to promote the Manel Xifra Boada Technological Centre (Comexi CTec), from which the company supports its clients and conveys its knowledge to the actors in the process of the flexible packaging industry. Therefore, among the various opinions received from Twitter, Comexi will offer an invitation to one of the courses carried out on the premises of Comexi CTec, next 2017.
To take part in this proposition, interested parties must share on Twitter which Comexi technology has surprised them the most and why, using the hashtags #K2016 and #ComexiK. In addition, they will have to follow the Comexi and Comexi CTec accounts on Twitter (@ComexiGroup and @ComexiCTec).
