Presented by the Assn. of International Metallizers, Coaters and Laminators (AIMCAL), Fraunhofer FEP and Fraunhofer IVV, the conference features more than 50 outstanding papers devoted to developments in Web Coating/Web Handling and Vacuum. Presentations by technical experts from North America and Europe focus on barrier materials and testing, vacuum equipment and processes, coating equipment, inline control, simulation, web metrology, capacitors, photovoltaics and emerging technologies.
The conference schedule includes an optional tour of two points of interest in Dresden: Fraunhofer FEP and the VON ARDENNE Technology and Application Center. Attendees also may register for short courses on the opening day of the conference. Short course options include Roll-to-Roll Vacuum Deposition onto Flexible Substrates, Wrinkling and Spreading, Adhesion Science Principles and Practice, and Permeation Barriers.
